The Race

Plenty of car parking is available at the Race HQ at the aerodrome. Please observe all parking regulations and respect local residents.

As well as medical support and toilets within the Race HQ area there will be a secure baggage storage area and on site catering. North Downs Hospital will have some physiotherapists on hand to help with any aching muscles after your run.

Results will be displayed as soon as is practical after the race. In addition, race results will be emailed the day after the race to all participants who have provided a legible email address. Results will also be available on the Nice Work website on Sunday afternoon and on the race website as soon as is practical

Half Marathon Prizes: 1st prize £100 - 2nd prize £50 - 3rd prize £25 for men and ladies.

Awards and prizes for leading runners in the 10k and plus for both races:

First Male Junior, Senior & Vet Categories 1-8, 1st Male Team (3 to score)

First Lady Junior, Senior & Vet Categories 1-8, 1st Lady Team (3 to score)

Postal entries are available until July 14th for the half marathon at a cost of £25, discounted to £23 for members of UK Athletics affiliated clubs. 10k entries are available at a cost of £17, discounted to £15 for UKA members.

Early Birds can secure a discount for the Half Marathon entry fees by making their entries before January 1st 2020.

You can also enter the race online, using a choice online entry systems. Further information, including links to the online portals can be found by visiting the Nice Work website here.

Entries will also be available on the day, subject to the entry limit not having been reached.

There are frequent water stations and, if weather conditions on the day determine it, additional water stations will be used. Participants are urged to ensure they are fully hydrated before beginning the race and if the weather is likely to be warm, you should consider carrying your own supply of water as well.

The route is mainly flat and, apart from the finish, the surface is all road. The course has been accurately measured and carries a certificate of course accuracy.

The Half Marathon course is a two lap circuit with the 10k completing one lap around the quiet country lanes surrounding Redhill Aerodrome.
